Analysts
BSB works in close cooperation with analysts of consultancy groups specialized in the financial sector, more specifically Gartner and Celent. BSB is a client of Gartner's research and advisory services.
Celent
BSB is not only followed by Celent, but also contributes to the different surveys that the company carries out on non life policy administration systems.
For instance, BSB took part in the last Celent survey studying the price of the life insurance management software packages in Europe as well as in a market study on illustration software (webportal of the 3th generation for life insurance software containing advanced graphic illustration functionalities).
Celent is a research and consulting firm focused on the application of information technology in the global financial services industry. The firm has two basic offerings:
» Research, providing members with continuous knowledge and advice, and
» Consulting, working with clients on specific strategy issues.
Celent's analyst team is organized by financial services industry vertical: Banking, Securities & Investments, as well as Insurance. These analysts produce monthly research reports for member firms, and are available to members to further explore issues and questions that may arise. This direct access to Celent's analysts means that members can immediately contact established experts on a large variety of issues within financial services technology.
In addition, these same analysts engage in strategy and management consulting projects for both members and non-member firms. Our research and consulting teams are one and the same, which means that Celent’s strategy consulting clients have direct access to the knowledge and expertise gathered as part of the Celent research practice. This knowledge is fully brought to bear on specific client issues, providing Celent with a significant head start on consulting projects.
With its team of internationally experienced and multi-lingual analysts, Celent is able to provide its clients with global perspective.
KPMG
In November 2009, KPMG published the 17th edition of its System Survey that provides a view on the Luxembourg IT market. The survey targeted banks, fund administrators and life insurance companies.
Regarding the life insurance sector, Solife attained the second best share in the Life Insurance software Luxembourg market.

Still in the life insurance sector, BSB confirms its leadership in the Asset Management market in Luxembourg. Its software Soliam stands the first software package implemented (just after Micro-Application such as Excel/Access).

These graphs come from the KPMG Systems Survey 2009-2010.
